The Power of Networking

I recently found out first hand how powerful networking can be. I started a new company and have been overwhelmed with the amount of help people have freely offered.

I have been in the Twin Cities area for just about four years now and have met many business acquaintances in this short period of time. In the few weeks since launching the business I have generated a dozen potential client engagements; virtually all based on my network of business relationships.

I will comment more on this as I make progress in the new business. My advice to you is to think twice about passing on opportunities to meet colleagues in your city. People are willing to help you in almost any circumstance...
