In May last year I blogged about my first impressions of the culture and spirit at Red Wing Shoe Company. I was impressed then and I remain even more so today with the firms commitment and passion for the business. The passion permeates all levels of the firm. I meet with many vendors and partners and they are intrigued by the firm and our success.
It is fun to see their reaction to our products...most look forward to a trip to the company store. They almost always buy boots or shoes. I get emails months later with reviews...all are positive.
I am thankful to be working for a firm that cares about the town, its employees, and its products. Looking forward the next 100 years of success.
