I have the new iPhone 4 and have been using it for the past several weeks. Yes it is true that holding it in a certain way does seem to result in more dropped calls, but it doesn't seem to be that much of a problem overall.
Two things I like:
1) The new folder option is helpful in terms of organizing the myriad of apps I have. It has greatly reduced the need to flip through apps and pages to pages to find what I am looking for. I just have to remember which folder I put items in.
2) Battery life is substantially better. I can make it the entire day and not worry about a midday charge to make it to the end of the business day.
The are few other new features that I have come across that make the phone that much better than the iPhone 3. I have tried facetime and it is cool but not very practical. I never seem to be in a spot that makes it convenient to have a video chat. Plus I need another iPhone 4 buddy.
I like the phone, just not enough to recommend upgrading an iPhone 3 because the features aren't that much better.
