Measuring the Value of IT

How many times has the notion of IT value been tackled by IT and business leaders? I bet every day and for sure every budget season. I met a very interesting consultant yesterday that has developed an approach that measures the ROI of IT. It is an interesting concept. She has developed he methodology over the past 25 years.

There are some very large and successful firms using the approach. I have had the opportunity to talk to a few CIOs that are leveraging the technique. Their results are impressive. It turns out that companies measuring ROIT all have helped deliver better company profits.
